Men hair products-pomades-wax?

What are the best products for wax, gel. and pomade for mens hair? and how much do they cost?Men hair products-pomades-wax?
Redken makes a fantastic pomade called Maneuver or if you can find it anymore, Alterna makes an orange pomade called putty which is hemp based, very good for your hairMen hair products-pomades-wax?
the best ones you would have to buy from salons but i use a wax that i just get at walmart called ';specialeffects molding wax (FX)';
Pomade--nothing better than Murray's or Royal Crown. If you want a true greaser pompadour, this is it. Bear in mind that they are really greasy, and you have to wash it out with Dawn Liquid (it really DOES take grease out of your way!). You can find them in the ethnic hair section at Walmart or Sally's for about $3

Wax--Water Wax by Redken is really nice, and washes out well, b/c it's water soluable. Most waxes aren't. It's about $12 at a salon or at a place like Ulta.

Gel--I'm not a fan of the gel myself, but a paste with great hold that can do a rocker-type hair style is KMS Molding Paste (about $16 at salon or Ulta). Garnier makes a great paste called Surf Hair (Walmart or Target) that's really inexpensive if you want to experiment--about $3.

What kind of 'do are you going for?
My boyfriend uses American Crew hairproducts!! they smell great!! They have gel, wax, shampoo- everything!

the website is www.AmericanCrew.com

they aren't too expensive- they are salon products so its more expensive then say Suave. But they work well!
The crew brand is really good. It is pretty well priced as well. It used to only be in salons but now I see it at the grochery store. It's around $6-9.
